About Callegari
Callegari S.p.A founded in 1930, began working as a distributor of pharmaceuticals in the Italian market. At the end of the 1990's Callegari S.p.A was aquired by the Catellani Group Company. The change of ownership marked a profound transformation both structurally and also of direction. The business concentrates solely on the production of diagnostic systems which are innovative and highly professional for the medical, pharmaceutical, beauty and wellness sectors.
In only 5 years Callegari S.p.A created a first by introducing blood testing services into pharmacies and at the same time became a point of reference in the production of instruments for the analysis of free-radicals and oxidative stress at an international level.
Today Callegari S.p.A is the leading manufacturer for point of care products in Europe. It has two directs branches (U.K. and Belgium) and distributes its products in more than 45 countries worldwide.
The Group
Catellani Group is made up of three different sections:
Catellani Diagnostics: responsible for the production of new chemical reagents for the diagnostic “Point of Care”. Thanks to years of experience in the are of clinical chemistry and to investments made in the infrastructure and in technical – scientific staff , the company has today reached a high level of expertise and is able to produce for external companies.
Innova Engineering: responsible for the research and development of new technology and new products for lighting which respects the environment . “Moduled” is an innovative technology which supplies a vast range of personalised systems with LED lights for home automation and light management .
The aim of the project is to produce instruments which are simple, long – lasting and highly versatile in their use and over time: the “made in Italy” guarantee gives the project quality and reliability.
Noras has the mission of restoring War Birds to their former glory, that is airworthy.
A team of Aeronautic Engineers with many years of experience, dedicate passion into restoring what often is simply a ruin, into a fully airworthy and equipped Aircraft. Services also include maintenance of War Birds from an International Client portfolio.
The flying experience is also open to the public.

Italian Pharmacy Division
Pharmacy
The Pharmacy Division is part of the history, present and of Callegari S.p.A.
The concept of diagnostic testing services in the pharmacy was developed and introduced into the Italian pharmacy by Callegari S.p.A as far back as the 1980's, later to spread to the rest of Europe, from the introduction of the first glucose meters to revolutionary yet easy to use point of care systems capable of giving operators a wide range of general chemical tests.
Today over 7,000 pharmacies employ Callegari diagnostic products in Italy alone. The range of products offered now span from general chemical testing to skin, wellness of legs, free radicals and antioxidant capacity screening and monitoring, the latter four being the main focus for the future given the increasing expansion of the cosmetic and antioxidant markets world-wide.
Callegari distributes it's products directly in Italy via it's own sales network effectively covering the whole of Italy including Islands. A high emphasis is placed on establishing and maintaining close partnerships with our pharmacy customers via this network and in this way Callegari actively seeks out opportunities to improve it's understanding of customer requirements, anticipating market trends, to make life easier for operators, and to achieve excellence in all areas of activity.

All products produced by Callegari are certified for “self testing use” in accordance with the Directive 98/79/EC (IVD directive). Currently the Callegari point of care systems are the only fully certified products for self-testing for complete lipid profiles (including HDL), glucose, haemoglobin, oxidative stress and Anti-oxidant capacity on the market.
