The aim of Research, Development and Design is to broaden the enhanced level of scientific and technology background of the company which in turn reinforces its competitiveness on a global level by producing the latest ideas and innovation for the global point of markets.

The Division is entrusted with strategic activities which means combing innovative solutions with the requirements of clients also on a customised level. OEM (Original Equipment manufacturer) solutions are provided for blood and skin screening and monitoring, leg circulation and hair and cellulite screening and monitoring services, as well as many other medical and wellness products.

For over 10 years Research and Development has been active in the assessment and monitoring of Oxidative Stress and collaborates with many International Research Institutes and Universities on a global level.

Catellani Diagnostic CD

La Catellani Diagnostics is responsible for the production of new chemical reagents for the diagnostic “Point of Care”. Thanks to the years of experience gained in the area of clinical chemistry and to investments made into infrastructure and technical-scientific staff, the company has today reached a high level of specialization and is able to produce for outside agencies.

Callegari Spa and Catellani Diagnostic work in a system of company quality following international norms UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 and 13485:2004, and the reagents are certified for self-testing use according to the regulation 98/97/CE.

Chemical reagents are produced and chemical-physical analyses are carried out here, both of partially produced but also of finished products.

Advanced technological equipment is used for this fundamental control cycle.

Innova

Innova Engineering is responsible for the production of new technology and instrumentation for Callegari Spa and has developed a project for an eco-friendly illumination system called MODULED, which offers advanced technology and a wide range of personalized system of LED for lighting and the management of illumination solutions.

Technology Buildings

The production site of Callegari S.P.A is a highly technological and innovative building which covers an area of over 2000 sq mts.

The space is divided into two levels, the ground floor houses the R&D, Catellani Diagnostics, Innova Engineering, logistics department and the System Quality department; the second floor contains offices, designed to be multifunctional and which make the most of the entire space, both vertical and horizontal.

There are two special features in this project, glass and primary colors.

The outer covering, made entirely of glass was designed as a concept of absolute transparency and high technological standard, exemplified in a façade of self-supporting glass which interacts with the environment creating a synergy between internal and external spaces

Light-protecting glass guarantees an adequate protection for the interior by preventing the penetration of light into the building.

The primary colors, yellow, red and blue are used on the supporting structures and furniture to signify the three pillars of the company: research, innovation and development.

Finally, the relaxation area has been designed on a terrace which looks onto the façade where a large hanging garden demonstrates the understanding of the importance of incorporating natural elements into the project.
